Contract | Full-Time | Days | 4 x 10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub in on orthopedic total joint, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical procedures
- Participate in an on-call rotation — approximately one call shift per week within a 6-week schedule, covering 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Fulfill weekend call obligations — one Saturday or Sunday per every 5 weeks, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
- Respond to the facility within 30 minutes of call activation by a supervisor
- Participate in mandatory call coverage rotation in the event of unplanned staff absences
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Ability to scrub orthopedic total joint procedures
- Ability to scrub laparoscopic and robotic procedures
- Must be able to respond to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
- Must be available for mandatory call coverage as required by rotation policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a trauma center environment
- Familiarity with a high-volume, fast-paced surgical setting
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical platforms
