Contract | Days | 4 days per week, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist during surgical procedures in an operating room environment
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, including instrumentation, supplies, and equipment
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments and supplies during procedures
- Participate in stay-late call shifts (5:15 PM – 7:15 PM), expected 0–2 shifts per week
- Participate in 12-hour call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on weekends and holidays, expected 1–3 shifts per 6-week period
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations including weekend and holiday coverage
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital or acute care surgical setting
- Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties
