Travel Surgical Technician – Neuro Spine

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | On-Call Weekend Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in Neuro/Spine surgical procedures within a main operating room setting
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and equipment before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Operate and manage OR equipment in accordance with facility protocols
- Document and utilize the Cerner EMR system as required
- Participate in on-call rotation as evenly distributed by the OR Coordinator
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Technician experience
- Demonstrated experience in Neuro/Spine, Vascular, and Orthopedic surgical specialties
- Current BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Ability to maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 24-bed OR environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Da Vinci robotic surgical system
- Experience in Maxillofacial surgical procedures
