Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No weekends
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a Cardiovascular OR Surgical Tech supporting open heart procedures including CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements
Function as part of a day shift team of three (2 RNs and 1 CST Tech) maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
Operate and manage GE and Stryker equipment within the cardiovascular OR setting
Document and navigate patient records using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
Provide float coverage within the facility's supported campuses as needed
Participate in on-call rotations as required; specific call requirements will be discussed during the interview process
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of current, acute care CVOR Surgical Tech hospital experience
BLS, DORA, and NBSTSA Certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission
Proficiency in open heart surgical procedures is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Previous travel experience as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities
Additional cardiovascular surgical experience beyond open heart procedures
