Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 4x10-hour shifts, 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM with on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgical team during operative procedures, including robotic and neurosurgical cases
- Maintain sterile field and ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and equipment
- Participate in 1–2 assigned stay-late shift extensions per week as needed
- Fulfill overnight on-call obligations (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) once per 4-week scheduling block
- Complete 24 hours of weekend on-call coverage per 4-week block, with the option to split into 12-hour shifts via self-scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical technician experience
- Strong proficiency in robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Experience in neurosurgical cases
- Ability to fulfill on-call and stay-late requirements as outlined in the schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel surgical technician experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with self-scheduling systems for on-call shift management
