Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician - First Assist

• Perform endoscopic vein harvest utilizing Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro
• Assist in open heart surgeries as a First Assist
• Conduct procedures such as CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, and aorta repair
• Ensure compliance with hospital guidelines and protocols
• Rotate on-call duties every third weekend and weekday

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician - First Assist

• CSFA, CFA, or SA-C certification
• Minimum 2 years of independent endoscopic vein harvest experience
• Minimum 2 years of open heart First Assist experience
