Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Technology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with occasional call until 7:00 PM Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 0 License: Current certification in Surgical Technology required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: Successful graduation of a program meeting the minimum requirements defined in the core curriculum for Surgical Technology (CAAHEP accredited). Description: This position is responsible for surgical technician functions in the surgical area. The role involves providing care for the patient in accordance with hospital and departmental standards and policies. Experience is preferred, but not required. Full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday. Occasional call until 7:00 PM is expected. No overnight call and no weekends are required. Compliance with hospital employment and health requirements is necessary prior to the start date. Completion of various immunization requirements and screenings is essential. Candidates must also provide proof of physical eligibility and pass a drug screening. Mandatory reporter training may be required if not already certified.
