The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced perioperative environment. Strong sterile technique and the ability to adapt to various surgical specialties are essential. Rotating call and holiday call are required. This position will primarily be assigned to the Main Operating Room. The traveler must be competent and comfortable scrubbing a variety of surgical specialties to support staffing needs. The Certified Surgical Technologist will provide scrub support across multiple service lines, excluding cardiovascular procedures. Candidates should be proficient in preparing and organizing instrumentation. Collaboration with the perioperative team is crucial to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Travelers should have experience in scrubbing a broad range of procedures, including spine, general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics, gynecology, urology, ENT, plastics, vascular, ophthalmology, and podiatry. While the primary assignment will be spine, flexibility to work in other specialties as needed is required. Note that this position does not require cardiovascular scrub experience, as travelers will not be assigned to cardiovascular cases.
