Key Responsibilities

• Scrub in on orthopedic total joint, laparoscopic, and robotic surgical procedures
• Participate in an on-call rotation - approximately one call shift per week within a 6-week schedule cycle; call hours run from end of shift (5:30 PM) through 7:00 AM the following day
• Fulfill weekend call obligations - one Saturday or Sunday every 5 weeks, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Respond to the facility within 30 minutes of being contacted by a supervisor while on call
• Participate in mandatory call coverage rotation when scheduled call staff are unavailable

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Ability to scrub orthopedic total joint procedures
• Ability to scrub laparoscopic and robotic procedures
• Must be able to respond to the facility within 30 minutes while on call
• Must be available for mandatory call coverage as required by rotation policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level 3 trauma center environment
• Comfort and proficiency across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Experience managing on-call responsibilities in a high-volume surgical setting
