Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician - First Assist- Provide OR circulator experience
- Assist with a variety of surgeries including orthopedics, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic
- Operate basic OR equipment such as cautery, video monitors, and arthroscopy equipment
- Fulfill rotating call duties as scheduled
- Scrub open heart procedures
Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician - First Assist- Possess BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience as an OR circulator
- Ability to fulfill rotating call (one night a week minimum, one weekend per 5-week schedule minimum)
