Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician- Assist in operating room procedures for spine and joint surgeries
- Prepare surgical equipment and ensure all instruments are available
- Support the surgical team by anticipating needs during procedures
- Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols
- Document surgical procedures and patient information accurately
Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician- Minimum 6 months current hospital CST experience
- BLS, DORA, and NBSTA certifications must be currently active
- Experience with large spinal fusions including ALIF, OLIF, DLIF, ACDF, and ACDR
