Key Responsibilities
Scrub and assist during open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
Support vascular surgical cases as a trained vascular technologist
Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 2-room open heart unit with potential use of a third room
Collaborate with a team of CVOR RNs and CSTs to ensure safe, efficient surgical care
Utilize Meditech/CPN EMR system for documentation and patient records
Participate in on-call coverage as required by unit guidelines
Required Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience
Must be vascular trained
BLS certification required
NBSTSA Certification required
Current active Kansas (KS) licensure required
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification
Open heart and broader cardiovascular surgical experience
Prior experience with Meditech EMR
