Key Responsibilities
Perform scrub technologist duties within a cardiovascular operating room environment across a 6-OR suite
Support surgical teams during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring proper instrumentation, supplies, and sterile field maintenance
Participate in a variable call schedule as required by unit needs; call requirements to be discussed during interview
Document patient care activities using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Float to other areas of the surgical department as needed per unit floating policy
Adhere to facility dress code standards, including scrub color requirements and professional appearance policies
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience in a surgical technologist role with CVOR specialty experience
Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through NBSTSA or NCCT required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Expected weekly hours: 36
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
Prior travel assignment experience in a CVOR or cardiovascular surgical setting
