The shift is 4 x 10-hour shifts a week, Monday through Friday. The hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. A weekend shift will be required once a month. The role involves 1 call shift per week. The Surgical Tech will work in an environment with 23 operating rooms and 1 procedure room. The position involves assisting with elective and emergency surgeries for both adult and pediatric patients. A variety of specialties will be covered, requiring familiarity with multiple procedures. Key surgical procedures include abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, carotid artery stenting, and many more. The tech will be responsible for maintaining aseptic technique and sterilization/disinfection protocols. The role requires effective communication and teamwork within the surgical team. Candidates should have experience in a similar facility focusing on surgical procedures. This position may require floating to different areas as needed.
