Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist – Santa Rosa, CA 95405
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:45 - 19:15), variable start times possible (7am, 9am, 11am, 3pm). Weekend work as needed per unit requirements. Call coverage required. 13-week contract with 40 hours of orientation.

- Diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics (total joints and trauma), neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, general surgery, GU, and GYN
- Advanced equipment including daVinci Xi robotic system, Stealth Navigation Station, microscope, and laparoscopic/arthroscopic equipment
- Trauma Level I experience required – critical care surgical environment
- Float opportunities to nearby facilities within the health system

Requirements:- Minimum 3 years of surgical tech experience required; 5 years preferred
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Active CST certification (Certified Surgical Technologist) preferred
- NBSTSA certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- California state license preferred; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Required experience in orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, robotics, and trauma (hard requirements)
- Proficiency with case cart, crash cart, and scrubbing procedures required
- Craniotomy and airway management experience preferred
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
- Willingness to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Candidates must reside outside 50-mile local radius
