Key Responsibilities
Assist surgical team in the operating room during a variety of surgical procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and supplies before, during, and after surgery
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments and supplies as directed
Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance protocols within the OR setting
Maintain readiness for ASAP start and adapt to scheduling adjustments as needed
Required Qualifications
AHA BLS certification required
NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred; candidates without certification must have a minimum of 3 years of surgical tech experience
Certified Surgical Technologists will receive priority consideration
Must have successfully completed at least 2 prior travel contracts - first-time travelers are not eligible
Must reside more than 45 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification
Prior travel contract experience in a surgical or operating room setting
Ability to adapt to varied shift structures, including extended 10-hour shifts
