Competency in Neuro/Spine procedures. Description: Seasonal travel position for Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Shift hours are from 7 AM to 5 PM. Candidates must possess competency in Neuro and Spine procedures. The unit has 14 operating rooms and a staff of 70 full-time equivalents. Staffing includes a charge nurse, registered nurses, and surgical techs per operating room. The patient ratio is 1:1, estimated but not guaranteed. Experience in orthopedic and joint procedures is required. Candidates with Level I or trauma experience are preferred. Prior experience with Meditech is considered an asset. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a high level of accountability and expertise. Self-direction is highly valued. Flexibility in scheduling, including day and evening hours, is necessary. 1-2 call shifts from 5 PM to 7 PM may be required.
