Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 8-10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: BLS, NBSTA, and DORA Certifications must be active Certifications: BLS, NBSTA, DORA Must-Have: Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as a CST. Description: This is a travel position for a Certified Surgical Technologist in the operating room. The work schedule is from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates will be working in a multi-specialty Client. The center has a team of 33 staff members, which includes 2 charge RNs, 3 OR Technologists, 2 Radiology Technologists, 1 LPN, and 26 RNs. There is a 1:1 patient ratio of RN to OR Technologist in each operating room. Typical procedures performed include knee scopes, ACL repairs, rotator cuff repairs, vitrectomies, laparoscopic hernias, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, bunionectomies, cataract surgeries, sling procedures, hysteroscopies, and cystoscopies. Orthopedic experience, including ACLs, rotator cuff repairs, and total joints, is preferred. Candidates with ENT experience, such as septoplasties, SMR, T&As, and stapedectomies, will be given priority. Instrument room experience is an asset.
