Description:
Located in a beautiful area, this facility has been serving the community since 1977.
The team provides exceptional care in various medical fields including emergency medicine and obstetrics.
Responsibilities include assisting in providing patient care during labor, delivery, and recovery.
Perform surgical scrub duties and maintain acceptable levels of supplies.
Provide turnover of patient areas as needed.
Assist in the operating room with obstetrics-related surgery and patient care before and after surgery.
Assistance in the preparation of patient rooms requires opening sterile supplies and setting up for procedures.
Utilize aseptic techniques and check the integrity of sterile packaging.
Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by providing needed supplies and instruments in a timely manner.
Participate in the timeout on each case as required.
Assist nursing staff during deliveries with preparation, positioning, transport, transfer, and discharge of patients.
Collect urinalysis specimens and take and record maternal vital signs, weight, height, and intake & output measurements.
Perform personal care services and assist with activities of daily living for patients.
Prepare, position, transport, transfer, and discharge patients as directed.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

This facility has a total bed count of 122, and staffing includes an average number of registered nurses on the unit.
Call may be required, and floating to other units could be necessary.

Emergency medication systems are available, along with electronic medical records.
Transport teams are not present, and intensivity care services are available 24/7.
Special equipment and procedures related to obstetrics are utilized within this unit.
Scrubs are provided for this position.
