Key Responsibilities
Perform surgical scrub duties in an ambulatory operating room environment across a 6-OR, 1-procedure-room facility
Support a variety of surgical specialties within scope of practice
Participate in one late week per four-week rotation as needed to complete cases
Float within the perioperative facility as needed to meet operational demands
May be required to precept a care team member in the operating room
During hurricane season (June-November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications
NBSTSA certification required
BLS certification required
Radiation badge must be provided by the staffing agency prior to start
Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered at standard priority; local candidates (within 60 miles) may be considered on a case-by-case basis
All requested time off must be submitted at the time of candidate submission; RTO requests after submission will not be accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in ENT, Plastics, GYN, or Urology procedures
Robotics surgical experience
Pain management procedure experience
