Must-Have: - 2 years of experience is required. - Experience in Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (DaVinci Xi) cases is highly preferred. Description: Position is for an Operating Room Certified Surgical Technologist. Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts, requiring work on weekends and one additional weekday. Traveler may need to float within scope to meet facility needs. Open to accommodating block schedule, pending manager approval. Common cases include Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, and GU/GYN. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must provide proof of submitted or active State License. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Travelers should ensure compliance with all pre-start requirements within the designated timelines. Team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists. The environment is busy, dynamic, and nurse-driven, utilizing cutting-edge technology. Expectations include being able to assist with a variety of surgical specialties. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission and are subject to approval based on facility needs.
