Description:
The position is for a Certified Surgical Technologist.
The shift will consist of 3 twelve-hour days, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with holiday rotation.
A weekend shift is required once every four weeks.
The position may involve up to four on-call shifts per four-week schedule period.
Travelers may be expected to float between similar units or sister facilities based on the facility's needs.
Common surgical cases include ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), robotics, transplants/procurements, trauma/burns, GU/GYN.
First-timers are accepted for this position.
A radiation badge is required, and it must be provided by the agency.
This role will be in a level-one trauma center.
The Main Operating Room supports a variety of cases and requires staff to be versatile.
Overall, it is a busy department providing advanced surgical services.
All RTO must be included during the initial submission.
All candidates must adhere to compliance and scheduling guidelines.
Candidates must have a South Carolina license or be in the process of obtaining one.
Travel during hurricane season may require assignment to emergency response teams.
During hurricane season, new assignments should not be confirmed if there are potential conflicts.
