Job Opportunity – Sterile Processing Technician – Portland, OR 97213
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Mid shift, 5x8-hour shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM). Weekends not required. No on-call or floating between units.
Highlights:- Work at a 418-bed short-term acute care facility with 21 operating rooms
- 13-week travel assignment with first-time travelers welcome
- Epic charting system in use; experience preferred

- Gain experience with advanced robotic surgical instrumentation including Da Vinci systems
- Opportunity to work with diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics, urology, ENT, general surgery, and more
Requirements:- Active certification from CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA required
- Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Experience with robotic instrumentation strongly preferred
- Proficiency in decontamination, high-level disinfection, sterilization procedures, and equipment operation
- Knowledge of case cart preparation, tray assembly, and proper wrapping/labeling techniques
- Experience with steam sterilization, biological and chemical indicators, and immediate-use steam sterilization
- Valid compact state license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
