Key Responsibilities
Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, urological, bariatric, podiatric, and pain management cases
Support eye surgery procedures including cataracts, vitrectomy, and scleral buckle
Assist with arthroscopic orthopedic procedures
Participate in on-call weekend coverage on a rotational basis
Maintain compliance with all surgical tech certification requirements for practice in New Jersey
Required Qualifications
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required - certification is mandatory to work in New Jersey
Active and valid certification in good standing
Ability to work a day shift schedule (11:00 AM-7:30 PM, Monday-Friday)
Availability for rotational on-call weekend coverage
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in eye surgery procedures (cataracts, vitrectomy, scleral buckle)
Background in bariatric and pain management surgical cases
Experience with urology, orthopedic arthroscopy, and podiatry procedures
