Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical Oncology Med/Surg position requiring at least one year of travel nursing experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a high-acuity 30-bed Surgical Oncology unit
• Care for a vulnerable oncology patient population, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and post-surgical care
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• 36-48 hour contracts acceptable
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required per unit need

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of med/surg nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Chemo certification preferred
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to surgical oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and symptom management
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies which allows local candidates at a reduced rate
• Local candidates are accepted
• Travelers should begin discussing extension with their manager 45 days before assignment end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
