Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience and an MD or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 20-bed adult Surgical ICU within the Department of Surgery
• Diverse patient population including Trauma, GI Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine procedures, transplant, vascular, Surgical ENT and General Surgery
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 12-hour rotation
• Float as needed to areas of like skill set

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of current, strong Surgical ICU experience required
• Critical Care Certification, trauma course, ACLS, and EPIC experience preferred
• 2 previous travel assignments preferred
• Experience in a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU and post-surgical ICU patients
• Orientation sessions held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
