Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a First Assistant in a Labor & Delivery setting, providing direct surgical support during procedures
- Assist the surgical team throughout L&D cases, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Perform scrub and first assist duties in accordance with facility protocols and standards of care
- Maintain sterile field integrity and adhere to infection control practices throughout all procedures
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT) with First Assist certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a First Assistant
- Experience working in a Labor & Delivery environment is required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical or L&D setting
- Ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and team dynamics
