Travel Surgical First Assistant (SFA) in Naples, FL

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operating room procedures as a first assistant
• Ensure the operating room is properly prepared, maintained, and cleaned before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Participate in an on-call rotation covering approximately 4–5 weekday evening/night shifts and 2–4 weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule
• Float between campuses as needed to support surgical services
• Work collaboratively under the supervision of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other members of the surgical team

Required Qualifications

• Certified First Assistant (CFA), Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA), or Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) — one of these credentials is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Ability and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
• Ability to float between campuses as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience in an operating room setting
