    Travel - Certified Surgical Technologist / First Assist (CST FA)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-Call Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform first assist duties in a 16-room operating room environment supporting a wide range of surgical specialties including robotic, orthopedic, neuro/spine, general, plastics, and urology procedures
    • Function as part of a dedicated surgical team (RN, Surgical Assistant, Surgical Tech) maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio per OR room
    • Operate and assist with advanced OR equipment including robotic surgical systems
    • Document and manage patient care using the Meditech EMR system
    • Participate in call rotation averaging approximately 2 call shifts per week, including weekday nights and weekend primary and backup call
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Virginia Surgical Technologist / First Assist License required
    • Robotic surgical experience required
    • Orthopedic surgical experience required
    • Neuro/spine surgical experience required
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CST/First Assist
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience across multiple surgical specialties including general, plastics, and urology
    • Familiarity with Meditech EMR
    • Strong team-oriented approach and adaptability in a fast-paced OR environment
