Key Responsibilities of the Surgical Assistant- Assist in Neuro and ENT procedures including spine and cranial surgeries
- Support orthopedic surgical procedures such as fractures, hip, and knee replacements
- Operate specialized navigation equipment within surgical procedures
- Ensure proper positioning and preparation of patients for surgery
- Collaborate with surgical team members for optimal patient outcomes
Requirements of the Surgical Assistant- BLS certification
- Surgical Assistant certification from NBSTSA, ABSA, or NCCSA
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
