We are seeking an experienced Traveling Multifamily Superintendent to lead ground-up multifamily construction projects throughout the Carolinas, overseeing field operations from sitework through project completion. Description
- Lead all on-site construction activities for ground-up multifamily projects.
- Manage project schedules and drive progress to achieve critical milestones.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, coordination, and daily field operations.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout all phases of construction.
- Enforce safety procedures and maintain a culture of jobsite safety.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, and consultants to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Conduct site meetings and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
- Oversee inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout activities.
- Monitor manpower, logistics, and site sequencing to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain project documentation utilizing construction management technology platforms.

Profile
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience leading ground-up multifamily construction projects as a Superintendent.
- Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish.
- Experience overseeing larger-scale apartment developments, including garden-style, wrap, podium, or similar multifamily product types.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, quality control, safety, and subcontractor management.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Carolinas as project needs require.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience on multifamily projects exceeding 200 units.
- Background with well-established commercial or multifamily general contractors.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
- Exposure to healthcare or commercial construction projects.
- Stable employment history with demonstrated long-term tenure.
