Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a STICU (Trauma ICU) Days position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and TNCC certification.

Details

• Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center setting
• Trauma Intensive Care Unit focused on adult trauma population
• Post-surgical management for General Surgery, Vascular Surgery (Carotid, etc.), and Neuro Surgery patients
• 8-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:1-3
• Day shift schedule, 06:45-19:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and TNCC
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to trauma, post-surgical, vascular, and neurosurgical ICU patients
• First-time travelers may be considered
