Position: Sterile Processing Tech – Certified $$SN$$
Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Shift: Evenings – 4x10s (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Rotating Weekends)
Duration: 14 weeks
Job Duties
Decontaminate surgical instruments, equipment, and reusable patient supplies.
Prepare and sterilize surgical instrumentation and reusable supplies.
Process a minimum of 20 instrument trays and 10 peel packs per shift according to departmental productivity standards.
Assist with maintaining departmental inventory and supplies.
Report malfunctioning equipment and discrepancies to the supervisor or manager.
Participate in departmental improvement projects and required safety training.
Maintain infection control standards, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
