This role involves supporting the Central Supply department by ensuring proper decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment to maintain patient safety and surgical readiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, preparation, and packaging of surgical instruments
• Operate steam sterilizers and low-temperature sterilization systems
• Process GI endoscopes and flexible scopes following facility protocols
• Inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical trays and instruments
• Handle loaner trays and implant instruments
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with sterilization standards
• Float within the department as needed to support patient care
