We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by efficiently sterilizing and maintaining medical instruments and equipment. Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and disassemble soiled medical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Clean, decontaminate, and sanitize instruments using specialized equipment, detergents, and cleaning processes.
- Assemble, package, and prepare sterile instrument trays, surgical kits, and equipment sets following established protocols and quality standards.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ensuring accurate cycle selection and proper loading techniques.
- Monitor and document sterilization processes, including time, temperature, and pressure parameters, to ensure efficacy and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all sterilized items, including lot numbers and expiration dates, in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
