Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a sterile processing setting. Experience with Steris washers, ultrasonic cleaners, and autoclaves is required. Knowledge of sterilization wrapping procedures and instrument tracking software is essential. Candidates should be familiar with cleaning equipment and practicing high-level disinfection. On-call duties are required as part of the role. Availability to work weekends is mandatory. Candidates must provide professional references from positions held within the past year. References must not be pending. Experience using Epic as a charting system is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform sets/trays assembly and maintain equipment documentation. Experience in various surgical fields such as general, orthopedic, and plastic surgery is beneficial.
