Experience in sterilization processes such as Sterrad and steam is required. Candidates should have high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope experience. Familiarity with sterile storage and operating room liaison duties is preferred. The role will require working rotating weekends and occasional holidays. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in sterilization wrapping procedures and proper labeling techniques. Travelers with a minimum of three years of experience are preferred. Experience in a busy facility with trauma services is highly valued. This position entails ensuring all medical supplies and instrumentation are adequately sterilized for safe reuse. Candidates should be able to support clinical liaisons between various departments. Travelling professionals must comply with all credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting. Professional references are required to support previous experience.
