Level 1 Trauma experience is required. Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap is necessary. Types of cases preferred: Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, GYN. First-time travelers are not accepted. License: South Carolina license preferred. Consideration for candidates with pending licenses if proof of application is provided. Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA certifications are required. BLS is not required. Must-Have: Candidates must be willing to float to meet facility needs. RTO must be provided before contract signing. Description: The Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. The tech will ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols. Proper handling and storage of sterile supplies are critical.
