No cancellations in work history. Description: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed on each emergency event, as impacts vary. Experience with sterilizers, Sterrad machines, and ultrasonic systems required. For interviewing purposes, be prepared to discuss: 1. The type of instrument tracking system you are familiar with. 2. The three-sink method in decontamination. 3. The loaner/vendor process. 4. The three key parameters you monitor on the sterilization printout to determine instrument sterility. 5. What teamwork means to you. 6. How you check for instrument functionality. 7. Your familiarity with robotic instruments and cleaning procedures. Flexible to work with different types of surgical instruments and settings. Ensure compliance with all local and state licensing requirements prior to submission. References from two managers or supervisors will be required to obtain clearance to start.
