Knowledge of chemical agents for decontamination and disinfectants is required. Experience with washers, sterilizers, and sterilization wrapping procedures is necessary. Candidates should be skilled in the assembly of instrument sets and trays for various specialties, including orthopedics, neurology, and general surgery. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a high acuity patient population. Regular floating between departments may be required based on facility needs.
