Shift: 12H Nights – 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Contract: 13 weeks / 91 days
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW)
Holidays: As scheduled
Charting: EPIC
BSN: Not required
License: Must have license to submit; willing to wait
Trauma Level: Not specified
Scrub Color: Royal Blue
Unit Details
- Unit: OBS 6N & 6C – Stepdown & Floor
- Beds: 31 total beds across two units on the same floor
- Ratios:
- Stepdown: 1:3
- Floor: 1:5–6
- Patient Population: Med-Surg, cardiac, IDDM, COPD, trauma, orthopedic, ENT, urology, and pain patients
- Telemetry: Yes; telemetry technicians available
- RN Responsibilities: Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Stepdown: Must be able to titrate drips
- Floor: Must be able to manage heparin drips
- RT: In-house 24/7; no ventilators on this unit
- Nursing Assistants: 3–4 CNAs for 31 patients
- Charge Nurse: Charge Nurse on every shift
- House Supervisor: In-house 24/7
Required Certifications
Important Submission Requirements
- Candidate's driver's license address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
- An unexpired copy of the candidate's driver's license is required with every submission
- Unit-specific requirements in Pulse must also be met
