12-Hour Day & Night Shifts | 36 or 48 Guaranteed Hours | Acute Care
A busy 34-bed unit with a mix of stepdown and floor patients and a supportive team. Choose days or nights, and choose 36 or 48 guaranteed hours a week, so the schedule fits you.
The Pay
48 guaranteed hours: up to $3,321 gross per week
$2,054 taxable
$1,267 tax-free* (for eligible travelers)
36 guaranteed hours: up to $2,509 gross per week
$1,242 taxable
$1,267 tax-free* (for eligible travelers)
*Tax-free portions are subject to IRS tax-home eligibility.
️ The Gig
8 East MedSurg: stepdown and floor patients on a 34-bed unit
Ratios: 1:3 on stepdown and 1:5-6 on the floor
Strong support team: a charge nurse and a transport RN on days (7a-7:30p), plus 2-5 CAs on most shifts
RT in-house 24/7, with vents on the unit
Telemetry: tele techs post strips each shift, and RNs read and interpret them
Drips: RNs titrate
Charting: Epic
Dress code: royal blue scrubs

Days (7a-7:30p) or nights (7p-7:30a): you pick
12-hour shifts with 36 or 48 guaranteed hours a week
Weekends and holidays as scheduled

2+ years of nursing experience (stepdown/MedSurg)
BLS
Telemetry strip interpretation skills
Active license (the employer is willing to wait on licensing)
COVID vaccination (exemption process available)
