Travel RN - Step-Down Unit

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience

• BLS & ACLS required

• Strong assessment skills

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment

Unit Specifics:

• 24-bed Step-Down Unit

• Patient ratio: 3:1

• Level 1 Trauma Center

• Common diagnoses/types of patients: Trauma and General Med/Surg

• RNs are required to titrate drips

• Common titratable/set-rate drips include Cardizem, Labetalol, Amiodarone, and others

• No sedative drips in the Step-Down Unit

Schedule & Staffing:

• Weekend Requirement: Yes, depending on staffing; could be every other weekend

• Holiday Requirement: Yes, on a rotational basis

• Call/Standby Requirement: No call

• Floating Requirement: Floating will be done on a rotational basis with other staff members on the unit. Travelers will be included in the rotation.

Taxable Pay (weekly): $1188
Non-taxable Pay (weekly): $1267
