Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown to provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.

The RN will coordinate total patient care, participate in patient and family education, and work collaboratively with physicians, ancillary staff, and other members of the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards.
 

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient and family education.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and ancillary staff.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and patient safety.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.

Position Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous Stepdown/Progressive Care experience.
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients.
• Epic experience required.
• Must be willing to work 12-hour night shifts.
• Must work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation.
• Local travelers within 50 miles are not accepted.
• Block scheduling is not available for this assignment.
