Join a leading healthcare provider as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Beaufort, SC. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within a 22-bed adult Medical-Surgical Oncology unit. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) while also floating to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Step Down and Med-Surg units.
• Float between Step Down and Med-Surg/Telemetry units as required.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-5 in Step Down and 1:5-6 in Med-Surg.
• Perform IV starts and other necessary nursing procedures.

Requirements:

• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility.
• 2 years of Med-Surg experience required.
• Step Down/PCU experience is mandatory for travelers.
• Must hold a valid South Carolina nursing license.
• BCLS certification required.
• Travel experience preferred.

Scrubs will not be provided; royal blue and white scrubs are required. The EMR system used is Meditech. This position involves working weekdays, every other weekend, and holidays as needed.
