Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Stepdown Neuro Registered Nurse in Cleveland, OH! This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN to work in a dynamic Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down setting. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are committed to providing high-quality patient care.

As a Stepdown Neuro RN, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring patients recovering from neurological conditions. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring optimal patient outcomes and supporting the healthcare team in delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor patients' vital signs and neurological status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families about health management and recovery.

Requirements:

MUST HAVE 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required.
MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand.
AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certification required.
Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
