Description

American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown Neuro RN for a day-shift hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Work in the Stepdown Neuro unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license, Ohio permanent or compact, in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• PCU/progressive care experience preferred but not required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applied specialty from within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide stepdown-level nursing care to neurological patients
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a passing score required (two attempts allowed)
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience for consideration
