Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Stepdown Float position requiring 2+ years of PCU/SDU experience and the ability to float to medical/surgical floors as needed.

Details

• Stepdown Float Pool role with potential floating to medical/surgical units
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00pm-7:30am)
• Every second weekend rotation required
• Patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:5
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• PCU and SDU experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Care for patients with cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and renal conditions requiring step-down level monitoring
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration
• Perform telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response activation as needed
• First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at local rate
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
