Job Summary
Step Down Unit Nurse Location: not specified. This role involves providing specialized care for patients in a step down unit within an acute care setting. Experience with critical care patients and familiarity with electronic charting systems are preferred.
Job Details
- Position Description: Must be a cardiac nurse with critical care experience preferred due to floating requirements. Shifts are nights or rotating with 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend or straight weekends, and every other holiday.
- Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 1 year of experience; location requirements not specified; shift time is rotating, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
- Additional Information: All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility. Scrubs are navy blue. The unit uses the EPIC charting system. Candidates must have current ACLS certification. Critical care experience is preferred due to floating requirements.
- Submission Requirements: Clinicians should confirm if they have previously worked for the organization; if they have, the previous employment must have ended at least 6 months prior to submission.
