Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Step Down Unit, available in a healthcare facility environment. This role involves caring for MedSurg Stepdown patients, providing clinical support, and ensuring patient safety during night shifts. The position is suited for experienced nurses who are proficient with acute care settings and telemetry monitoring.

Job Details

  • Location: Not specified; facility based.
  • Certifications: BLS certification required.
  • Education & Experience: Registered Nurse license; minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information:
    • Unit notes include patient ratios: 1:3 for Stepdown, 1:5-6 for Floor.
    • Experience with telemetry and reading strips is required.
    • In-house RT available 24/7 with vents; proficient RN skills needed for reading and interpreting strips.
    • Night shifts run from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, including weekends and holidays.
    • Floating may be required; unit dress code is Royal Blue.
    • EMR system used is EPIC.
    • BSN is not required.
    • Willing to wait for license submission.
